Name: Melissa Country: United States State: Florida Metro: Orlando Gender: Female
Interests: I love art, especially impressionist and ranaissance, and love to draw and paint and sketch things. Music rocks my socks, like Blink-182, Green Day, The Killers, Jimmey Eat World, Nora Jones, Evenescence and such. My favorite subjects are Art and English (Historys up there 2), both of which are my best subjects (which is perhaps why they are my favorite, or is it the other way around?). I think journalism is cool, I love to make stir fry (asian food rocks), and was at one point obsessed with The Phantom of the Opera (movie format). I love hanging out with my friends, and my cat. Theres more, but I fear that the attention span of my readers would not allow me to shed light on other things that strike my fancy. Expertise: Well, I could go along with everyone else and say "chillin with my friends", but I don't think I shall. Instead : I am skilled in the fine arts of asian stir fry making, back massage giving, journalism, and sheep herding. Occupation: Student

| wow ~ so its been forever since iv said anything on this xanga and im kinda afraid if i dont say something they might cancel my account, so i suppose i'll give a brief comment or two on my junior year thus far. its been nice i suppose, gotten a little nicer recently, but kinda a monotonous existence as a whole. Iv painted albert einstein, it looks pretty good i suppose... me and my two best buddies won second place at the disney chalkfest street painting. i had a lovely thanksgiving break, watched many movies and painted and read and ate food and such. it was nice. cant wait for christmas break. want to lock up the author of the dumbest political book ever, "right wing wrong bird" so his tyrannical assault of the high school student might end. um, i cant really think of anything else pertinent, so i shall now retire to my room to finish the evenings homework (to be read with british accent). yeah im weird. ok well ta ta old chum

| well kids this has got to be fast, i gots to go to bed. im doing VBS with st pauls this week, im in the nursery with franny-bob (having a grand time of course). i swear we have the fattest baby iv ever seen in our care - he positively defines rotund. another one of our kids is deathly afraid of swings - he starts to shake when he u put him on one (u shoulda seen him holding onto the chain for dear life - yeah like anyone ever fallen out of a baby swing). overall though its been great, i love little kids night night

| well i meant to actually update this weblog all the time this summer, but there really just isnt that much to say. im not that interesting at home i guess. i have discovered that i really like spanish radio, as u can see by my current choice of songs. its pretty handy that xanga put that option in i guess, or that wouldint really make sense. weeell, i gotta go do all those interesting things that i do during summer... ttfn | | |
| well, nothing much to report. vbs is fun, some oddballs there, but overall pretty neat. cassie and i are in charge of the kindergarten group - fortunantely there are only 13 of them, but with bryce thats kinda like having 15. they do the silliest things - and have begun to pair off into couples (one of the kids, bryce (real shocker there), apparently has 3 gf's currently) - this is unfortunant, but has prompted many conversations between cassie and me about how the media is corrupting our youth to the point of hopes for romantic relationships at younger and younger ages. this fascinates us, but i kinda doubt that u all have the attention span to sit through my explaining it and all that junk, so i'll just leave it at "ew". perhaps i will come up with more later, but right now, eating is rising to the top of my current to do list and has just surfaced on top of this xanga entry, so im off to eat. ta ta

| Sonnet CXVI Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved. ~Shakespeare
